This is a full 4-piece set of factory first-generation 2017–2023 Tesla Model 3 tail lights that were opened up and modified with RGB dotted LEDs. It includes both outer (quarter-panel) lights and both inner (trunk lid) lights. The set has never been installed on a vehicle, but the build was never finished. Some solder joints are not working, so the lights will need repair work before they can be used. It's priced well below a completed set and sold strictly as-is. Design & Styling

The factory internals were replaced with a grid of RGB dot LEDs that sits inside the red light-bar outline. When the lights are off, the dots sit on a black background behind the factory lens. When they're on, the dots can display multicolor patterns, as shown in the photos. The look suits show-car builds. Because the build was never completed, the final appearance and function will depend on the repair work done after purchase.

These do not fit the 2024+ refreshed ("Highland") Model 3. Always verify compatibility before ordering.

Installation

These lights are not ready to install as received. Solder repairs are required first. Added wiring leads come out of the housings. The photos show the lights being bench-tested on a power supply, but they have not been connected to a vehicle harness or tested on a car. Wiring the RGB lighting and controller into a vehicle will take additional work. This is best handled by someone experienced with LED soldering and automotive electrical systems. We can't confirm how the lights will interact with the Model 3's lighting system or whether the car will display lighting fault warnings.
