Compatibility: Our shield will not work with Lift Kits that modify the chassis crossmember! 4Runner Cat Shield fitment is based on the suspension of the vehicle. If you don't have the X-REAS or KDSS suspension such as on the SR5, SR5 Premium and the TRD Pro, please purchase the standard version.

KDSS suspension is typically found on the TRD Off-Road and TRD Off-Road Premium trims.

X-REAS suspension is typically found on the Limited and TRD Sport trims.

Will work with TRD skid plates.

Please verify your suspension type before making your purchase.

Required Tools for Installation: Protective eyewear and gloves, 12mm socket, 1/4" bit driver

Note: Shield may have some surface imperfections. Professional installation recommended.
